There is no nearby, convenient airport like there is in Jackson Hole for Grand Teton. The park can therefore be a bit difficult to access due to its location. While this sounds like a dream, it was actually our reality for our first full day in Glacier National Park. As you get closer, you can see there are some icebergs floating in the lake and some snow along the mountainside. About two to two and a half hours later, you are met with views of the gorgeous blue waters of Iceberg Lake with a backdrop of majestic mountains. As the sun begins to peak over the mountains, you begin your trek along the Iceberg Lake Trail. You exit your tent, do your morning routine, and then head to the Many Glacier area. You wake up for your first full day in Glacier National Park just before sunrise.
